There weren’t many people out hiking on this day due to a constant stream of Oregon rain.  As a landscape photographer, I have grown accustomed to shooting in less than ideal conditions, but I was struggling to keep water off my lens long enough to take even one clear shot due to the powerful wind and mist created by the thundering Elowah Falls.  After wrapping up, I turned around for one final glimpse back at the falls as I was hiking down the trail, and I had to get my camera out for one last shot of the falls through this golden yellow maple.  I got some amazing landscape photos on this day, but this last shot was one of my favorites.
