Image Details

Timing perfect fall color can sometimes be challenging, but I was fortunate enough to catch it in upstate New York this year.  The colors were vivid and bold, but the weather was unfortunately windy and rainy so I headed into the Adirondack forests to try to capture the leaf drop.  Sometimes I can get hung up on trying to shoot amazing landscape photos and I don’t stop to look at the smaller details around me, like this small pond filled with all the colors of fall.  It was perfectly still and the towering tree helped frame a great fine art nature scene.

    Framed: 12 weeks due to backlog at our vendor
