A rare visit to Yosemite National Park’s Tuolumne Meadows in the winter was only possible due to the unusually warm weather last season, leaving the typically closed road to this spectacular and remote area open. The afternoon sun shone brightly in the crisp blue sky through this magnificent towering tree; if it weren’t for the tiny patches of snow scattered across the mountain, I would have sworn this was summer.
