Hide and Seek
Yoho National Park lies just west of Banff in southeastern British Columbia. Yoho is a Cree expression for awe and wonder, fitting for this spectacular place filled with grand mountain peaks and towering waterfalls. This area in the shadow of the Great Divide is also rich with aspen trees, and it is here that I captured this picturesque grove, marred from the antlers of local elk. Within the scarring, there appears to be a face looking back; one of the Cree watching over this beautiful land, perhaps, or my imagination?
